Aquatherm Industries Hosts First Manufacturing Day Event
Aquatherm Industries, the largest U.S. manufacturer of low- and intermediate-temperature polymer solar thermal heating systems, held its first-ever Manufacturing Day on Oct. 6.
Manufacturing Day is a national event organized by The Manufacturing Institute that is held each October with the goal of inspiring future generations of workers.
Aquatherm hosted 33 juniors and seniors from Ocean County Vocational Technical School for a series of plant tours geared toward students interested in manufacturing. The students also participated in presentations about the aspects of running a manufacturing company, including engineering and design, production and administration.
“Manufacturing isn’t just about making things; it’s about innovation, teamwork and problem-solving,” says Dan Sizelove, vice president of sales and marketing at Aquatherm Industries. “It’s a world where creativity meets precision, and students like these can play a vital role in shaping the future of U.S. manufacturing.”
Aquatherm hopes to expand the event next year to include more local high schools.
