The Pool & Spa Show guide
The Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, will once again play host to the Pool & Spa Show, Jan. 24 – 26.
After the pandemic forced the annual event to shut down its in-person gathering in 2021 and then led to a substantial reduction in numbers last year, organizers hope for a welcome return to normalcy.
The nonprofit convention, which is hosted by the Northeast Spa and Pool Association, regularly attracts between 11,000 and 12,000 industry professionals to take part in educational courses, conferences, networking opportunities, product exhibits and more.
To help make social distancing easier in 2022, organizers decided to schedule educational courses, conferences and exhibitions to run concurrently and in doing so, discovered that this change had become a preference among exhibitors.
“Our exhibitors said, ‘Wow, that was really neat how the owners and the decision makers and the buyers didn’t all just come in at one time and overrun my booth,’ ” says Trish McCormick, who has served as event show manager for the past 26 years. “We had a steady flow all day, because we still had the conferences going on upstairs at the same time.”
New this year will be a special Pool & Spa Show Experience Pass, which is only available to NESPA/PHTA members. The pass allows for full access to both the technical and business passes, the show’s welcome party event, a new VIP reception and other VIP exclusives on the show floor. Additionally, Experience Pass owners will be given 30-day access to NESPA’s online On Demand Show Experience, which will feature content from show partners and speakers.
“We want to pack in everything that our customers need to make them successful into that week,” McCormick says. “This is the kickoff of their 2023 season, and we want them to succeed.”
The following is a schedule for the events created with pool service companies in mind. Those who wish to learn more about specific pricing options, should visit thepoolspashow.com.
