Heritage Pool Supply Group Announces Expansion in Minneapolis with New Acquisition

Heritage Pool Supply Group has acquired Custom Distribution, Inc., a wholesale distributor of pool and spa products. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, CDI was founded in 1967 by partners Harold Grotte and Red Mulvaney and is operated today by Harold’s daughter and her husband, Michelle and Doug Thayer. Bill Gutzwiller, general manager, will continue to lead the company’s team, and Heritage will rebrand all of its existing Sun Country locations in Minneapolis to the CDI brand immediately after closing.
