Molly Snyder, 28

At 14, Molly Snyder took a job at The Pool Place in Abington, Massachusetts. Starting as a cashier, she quickly expanded her skills, moving on to water testing and working at the parts counter. In 2014, she left the industry to attend Sage College of Albany, where she earned a degree in marketing.
After college, Snyder worked as a marketing coordinator for the Brockton Rox, a collegiate baseball team in Brockton, Massachusetts. She then shifted to visual merchandising for FRESH Beauty in Boston. However, she returned to the pool industry at Easton Pool & Spa.
“This position brought together the two things I am most well versed in — marketing and pools,” she says. “I realized that once you get into the pool industry, if you eventually leave, you always find your way back.”
In 2021, she joined the company as a marketing manager; now, she manages both Easton Pool & Spa and Plunge Pool Concepts, a growing plunge pool business she helped launch.
What Snyder loves most about the pool industry is its constant evolution. Having been a part of Easton’s plunge pool business from its inception, she is committed to driving its growth, aiming to elevate Plunge Pool Concepts to an international level. For Snyder, watching the brand expand and thrive has been rewarding, and she sees a long future ahead, aspiring to take on a director role at Plunge Pool Concepts.
Beyond her personal goals, Snyder is passionate about changing the perception of young women in the pool industry. She draws inspiration from attending industry seminars where women share their successes and challenges, and she hopes to inspire more young women to take on leadership roles in the pool business and be recognized for their expertise.
“Women struggle to be taken seriously in [leadership] roles, especially young females,” she says. “I am only 28, but I am not new to the industry, and I know what I am talking about. I hope one day women can thrive in the pool industry as much as men do.”
