Nicole Geissberger, 29

Nicole Geissberger says the best thing about her job is the community.
“The people in this industry, whether a company one state over or across the country, are a great network [working] to achieve a common goal,” she says. “We get to bring joy right to people’s yards that create everlasting memories with their families and friends.”
Geissberger began in the pool industry as an assistant retail manager for Hansen’s, working to ensure the showroom was presentable, the employees were prepared and each customer was cared for from the moment they walked in the door.
“Working on the retail side of things, I learned how to troubleshoot basic issues and get customers the appropriate parts, chemicals and accessories they need,” she says. “After the first season, my boss met with me and asked me how I felt about making the transition over to service. After just nine months in the industry, I accepted a coordinator position.”
Since stepping into the coordinator role, she’s continued to grow, gaining her Certified Maintenance Specialist Certification and overseeing multiple field projects.
“I have been given the opportunity to learn different scopes of the field all because of the trust that the company I work for has for me,” she says
Geissberger’s goal is to keep growing at Hansen’s.
“There is opportunity for growth in this position and the company,” she says. “I want to be remembered as a team member who truly cared for our customers by being as attentive, educated and reliable as possible.”
