Obituary: Julie Johnson

Julie Marie “Jules” Johnson died April 25 in Irvine, California.

Johnson was born on July 11, 1982. During her career in the pool industry, she worked at Leslie’s and later as the operations manager at Mission Pool & Spa Supplies, both in Mission Viejo, California. She served on PoolPro’s 2021 panel and was a 30 Under 40 recipient in 2019.

She told PoolPro in her 30 Under 40 profile that she had found her calling in the pool industry. Johnson had a preternatural ability to diagnose pool water, earning her The Water Doctor moniker.

She is survived by her son Quinn.
