Pool Scouts Partners with Hope Floats Foundation to Raise Funds for More Than 1,500 Swim Lessons

Pool Scouts, a pool service and maintenance franchise with more than 109 units under Buzz Franchise Brands, partnered with Hope Floats Foundation during Water Safety Month and raised funds to donate more than 1,500 scholarships for swim lessons.

Hope Floats Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on water safety that funds swimming lesson scholarships for underprivileged children. Drowning is the leading cause of death in children under age 5 and the second leading cause of death in children under 14. With a unique nonprofit model, Hope Floats currently has over 200 swim and business partners across 31 states fundraising for scholarships in their communities.

“Safety is our top priority, and this partnership with Hope Floats allows us to act on that and provide potentially life-saving value to children and families across the country,” says Michael Wagner, president of Pool Scouts.

Throughout Water Safety Month in May, Pool Scouts donated $1 from each service to the Hope Floats Foundation for scholarships. Pool Scouts’ efforts have raised over $32,000 for the Hope Floats Foundation over the past two years.
