POOLCORP Partners with YMCA of Greater New Orleans, NFL Wives Association for Water Safety Day at Super Bowl LIX

POOLCORP, the world’s largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool and outdoor living products, announced its sponsorship of Water Safety Day, an event hosted by Off the Field NFL Wives Association in collaboration with the YMCA of Greater New Orleans. This opportunity underscores POOLCORP’s commitment to community engagement through its SWIMPACT! program, which aims to ensure that children and families everywhere can enjoy the water safely and confidently.
The event, held on Feb. 4 at the Tulane University natatorium, involved nearly 200 students from Bissonet Plaza Elementary and The Good Shepherd School. Students participated in interactive swim lessons, learning critical water safety skills like floating, front glides and fitting a life jacket correctly. Each child also received a voucher for eight YMCA swim lessons, sponsored by POOLCORP’s SWIMPACT! program.

Since its inception in 2021, SWIMPACT! has supported swimming lessons for more than 42,000 children and training for 3,000 lifeguards. The pilot program, launched at the YMCA of Greater New Orleans, has grown to include 24 YMCA associations nationwide. The company’s 6,000 employees and 125,000 customers also play a crucial role in the program by donating time and swim gear for participants.
Additionally, the company’s 2025 SWIMPACT! initiative includes disaster relief efforts, and at the Western Pool & Spa Show in February, POOLCORP made a $25,000 donation to the Pool & Hot Tub Association’s Step Into Swim Fire Relief Fund to directly support industry professionals affected by recent wildfires in California.
Through February, all SCP and Superior Pool Products transactions in Southern California branch locations will allow customers to contribute a $1 donation (or more) to the same Fire Relief Fund, with 100% of the proceeds directly helping pool pros impacted by the devastation.
