2023 NPC Scholarship Application Open

The National Plasterers Council has opened the application process for the 2023 Rey Perales Memorial Scholarship, which is open to the children of NPC members and their employees. Over the past five years, the NPC has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships for college or trade school to help ease the financial burden of tuition costs, textbooks and fees.

Applicants must be a legal child of an employee associated with a member company in good standing of the NPC. Applicants must be at least a senior in high school or no more than a junior in college or enrolled in a Master’s program to apply.

Scholarship awards are determined by academic achievement, a student-researched essay and letters of reference. The dollar amounts of the scholarships and number of winners will be determined annually by the scholarship committee based on the available funds. The range of dollar amounts will be a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $5,000.

Scholarships are announced each year in January and will be awarded at the NPC Conference the following February. 

All applicants must submit their information by December 15, 2023, to be considered for the scholarship.
