Early Bird (on or before Jan. 19): NPC members: $475

Regular (after Jan. 19): NPC members: $575

Nonmembers: Call the National Plasterers Council Membership Office at 847-416-7221 for pricing and registration information. 

Spouse/Guest: $150. Spouse package includes opening reception, lunches, breakfasts and exhibitor’s reception only. Package does not include admission to educational programs. Optional items must be purchased separately.

Designed by Joe Lee, this course winds through pastel villas, pine forests, towering cypress, palmettos and other wonders of nature. Located in the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort Complex, it offers guests a challenging day of amazing golf, picturesque waterways and scenic views of Downtown Disney.

Construction 3612: Critical Surface Preparations for Swimming Pool Plaster  

In this course you will learn to analyze and test pool concrete vessel surfaces for bondability; define how to remediate and correct defects in concrete before surface application; observe proper pool-surface preparation using bond coats and cementitious materials that help ensure a beautiful and durable surface; and understand how plaster mixology and applications impact performance and serviceability.

Certification Classes

Wednesday, Feb. 26

8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Start-up Technician Certification Class 

This full-day class will certify an individual in the NPC method of properly starting up a newly surfaced swimming pool and/or spa. The course will cover the basics of plastering materials and applications, pool water chemistry, general start-up procedures and timeline, understanding LSI, identification of common problems and solutions and conclude with a 60-minute test.  

Instructor: Jana Auringer

Fee: $350 members, $595 nonmembers

Advanced registration is required.
